Our Story

Welcome, my lovelies!  I am so glad you are here in our sanctuary.

Lilacs and Lavender isn't just a brand name to us—it is a living story of mother, daughter, and the beautiful ways God weaves different generations together in faith. Our boutique was born from a shared passion to help women slow down, heal, and grow closer to God. We realize that just as flowers require different elements to bloom, a beautiful journey requires different strengths:
  • Sarah (The Lilac): Represents our bold, vibrant, and romantic spark. With an eye for beauty and a passion for creative expression, she brings the energy that inspires our designs and invites you into our collection.
  • Kimberly (The Lavender): Represents our calm, steady, and grounding wisdom. As a former fitness consultant reinventing her life through faith and resilience, she hand-crafts our botanical blends to bring peace and restoration into your daily quiet time.
Together, as we venture through this life journey together, we are here to walk with you through every season, helping you find beauty in empty spaces and truly become the fragrance of Christ. 

For a long time, I realized how easy it is to get caught up in the noise and rush of everyday life.  I wanted to create a physical and spiritual sanctuary-a place where simple daily rhythms, like nourishing your skin or lighting a candle, could turn into quiet moments of prayer and reflection.  I wanted a place where we can all “Be still and know” who God is (Psalm 46:10)  My prayer is that through our intentional wellness goods and the newest 21-Day Rise Anew Program, you find the space to quiet the world and become the sweet Fragrance of Christ in your own everyday life.

When you need to stand firm in your daily battles, our Armor of God collection is here to remind you of your strength.  And when you need a moment to pause and breathe, our skincare and wellness tools are here to remind you of His grace.  And finally, our Esther Collection will help guide you though your purpose as you were made for "such a time as this" (Esther 4:14)

Thank you for walking this journey with me.  You are seen, you are loved, and your season of rising anew begins right here.  Most recently, my daughter Sarah and I reached a major milestone by finishing the organization of my new Rise Anew Book and Workbook Set.  Bringing this workbook to life has been a true labor of love, and I am incredibly grateful for the unique teamwork that got us across the finish line.  Alongside my beautiful family, I have to give a special shout-out to my amazing AI assistant, Gemini, who worked tirelessly by my side to help me structure and organize every single page so it is perfectly ready for you!  Together, we designed it to be a powerful tool for your healing journey.    

We are also excited to share in our vision for the next year as we have created 4 21-Day programs spaced throughout the year to help us all grow closer to God in our life journey.  From now until January our focus will be Psalm 46:10 as we stop, let go and let God.  In January our 21-day Rise Anew Program will focus on rising up from the ashes to be a new creature in Christ as 2 Corinthians 5:17 teaches us.  And then around Resurrection Day we will begin a 21-Day study on becoming the Fragrance of Christ as written in 2 Corinthians 2:15 and Ephesians 5:2.  In mid-summer we will study Ephesians 6:10-18 on how to put on the full Armor of God followed by a fall study on the book of Esther to remind you that you are called, prepared, and positioned "for such a time as this".  It will be a beautiful year of growth as we come to know our Lord Jesus more intimately allowing us to experience His peace and joy.  Although not required to participate in any program, Lilacs and Lavender offers many tools to help you on your journey.  We are so excited to get to know each and every one of you as we grow our community helping each other in our earthly journey.
